I’ve been writing for more than 30 years now. And well, I had a life too, sometimes agitated, time and energy consuming. While I sometimes consider myself a poet, I must confess I am a passionate thinker. And entering the world of screenwriting, 15 years ago, only made things worse.
Now I know it only made things better. While experiencing the marvels on the writing trip, I quite soon understood I had found the best door to let my thinking and intuitions free. Screenwriting has been for me a fascinating revelation. It has the reputation of being the most difficult form of writing. And definitely the most addictive. But most of all, it is a brain transformation travel. You know what I mean : when you give a shot at this game, you literally feel your neurons wire, heat and connect.
Stories are made of time and emotions. But most of all I believe that ultimately they are made of intelligence, which is just another word for true humanity.
I love to write, I love to think, to learn and share what I’ve tested and experienced. I love to be part of creative teams, working on ambitious projects, I love partnership, hard work, creative drive, momentum, energy, enthousiasm. And I have an absolute confidence in life.
So, what’s next ?
J’aime écrire, penser, apprendre, partager. J’aime faire partie d’équipes créatives, travailler sur des projets ambitieux. J’aime l’écriture à plusieurs, la collaboration, l’énergie créative, l’enthousiasme. Et j’ai une absolue confiance en la vie.
Si je me vois parfois comme un poète, je dois avouer que je suis avant tout un penseur passionné. Et entrer dans le monde du scénario, il y a 15 ans de cela, n’a fait qu’empirer les choses !
Le scénario est l’antichambre mystérieuse d’un monde fascinant. C’est l’écriture la plus difficile, dit-on, et sans aucun doute la plus addictive. Mais par dessus tout, c’est un exercice qui transforme le cerveau. Quand vous vous aventurez sur ces territoires, vous sentez littéralement vos neurones, chauffer, se câbler et s’interconnecter.
Les histoires sont faites de temps et d’émotions. Je crois qu’en premier lieu elle sont faites d’intelligence, un autre mot pour humanité authentique.
